Critical Deadlines
- Notice and File Establishment — immediate upon stabilization
- Application to SUVA/accident insurance and disability insurance — as soon as stabilization occurs, at the latest 5 years after the accident (LAA 18 / LAA 20 / LAI 28)
- Medical and Economic Assessment — generally 6 to 18 months
- Opposition then recourse to the cantonal insurance court — 30 days from notification (LPGA 52 / LPGA 56)
